overwintering onions sprouting

You can't really see anything from this photo, but there are some small green sprouts present.
These were planted several weeks before anything else in the winter garden
This was pretty much a bust. Now that we have cold frames, I can get a jump on planting early next spring so that these will have a long enough growing season.
This was knocked down shortly after this photo was taken, as it was the first of the tomatoes to be hit by tomato blight.
This was BEFORE tomato blight reared its ugly head... :p
